TheNext90 Adal Bisharat is a pioneer in the area of strategy execution and productivity breakthroughs. By leveraging his experience as strategy and sales leader and expertise in technology and analytics, Adal developed, an advanced Goal Management System (GMS) designed to help organizations achieve strategic and sales goals and create productivity breakthroughs for individual employees.
Over the past 20 years, Adal has been a senior executive, consultant and educator. He is currently an Adjunct Professor in Strategy and Operations Management at the Robert Morris School of Management. Most recently, Adal was EVP of Performance Management at Guaranteed Rate. He was one of the founding Members of Pennymac Home Loans. Adal started his career Bank of America Mortgage as an M&A Analyst moving up to become SVP of Strategic Planning and National Sales Support.

Adal received his BA from Case Western University and MBA from the Peter Drucker and Masatoshi Ito School of Management. He enjoys playing playing tennis and skiing.

James B. Treleaven Strategist

TheNext90 Jim Treleaven is the President and CEO of Via Strategy Group, LLC (VSG). VSG advises CEOs, Boards of Directors, and other C level executives on growth and turnaround strategies. He is also an adjunct faculty member at the University of Illinois, Chicago, Department of Information and Decision Sciences. He has had a successful career in industry as the CEO of both public and private technology companies ranging in size from $40 to $500 million. Most recently he was President and CEO of Catalyst International, a NASDAQ listed supply chain software company. He also served as CEO of Global CommerceZone and Visual Intelligence Corp. and as President of the Enterprise Solutions Division of GEAC (D&B Software). He served as Managing Partner at Battelle Venture Partners, the Venture Unit of the Battelle Memorial Institute. He has held management, engineering, sales and marketing positions at several leading companies including IBM and the Chase Manhattan Bank.

He received his BS Degree in Computer Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, his MBA from the University of Minnesota and his PhD in Management from Case. He has taught at Case, the University of Illinois and has lectured at several other leading universities. He has published extensively in both refereed and popular journals in fields including corporate strategy, marketing, finance, human-computer interaction and computer-aided-design. He is a frequent speaker and has been featured on CNN and the Financial News Network

He currently serves on the Board of TechAmerica, the Illinois Technology Association (ITA), the Chicago Engineers Foundation and has served as Chair of the National Computer Graphics Association (NCGA). He serves on the Advisory Boards of three graduate Business Schools and on the Boards of several private companies.

Farhan Hussain Capital Growth

Farhan has a proven track record of outstanding vision, leadership and has consistently helped identify and structure unique opportunities, advised, built collaborative and profitable businesses in particularly complex environments and competitive situations. He has worked in a board range of industries ranging from Healthcare, Consumer, M&A, Industrial Manufacturing, and Advanced Technologies. Farhan is a founder multiple companies including GulfCare Holding Group, GCI, Interhealth Language Technologies, Advanced Mobility Systems, and Neurowave Medical Technologies. GCG is a strategic Business Development & Venture Investment group based in Chicago IL, focused on Business Development, Strategic Advisory, Investments & JV ventures with primary focus on healthcare, technology, defense, and infrastructure verticals in both the US and the International markets. Farhan has been intimately involved in formation and development of multiple ventures since inception. He has been instrumental in advising a diverse group of companies (from large multinationals to early stage startups, domestic & international investors, and help develop partnerships and co-ventures all over the world. In addition, Farhan has a deep understanding of added complexities of International business environments.

As a founder of NMT, Farhan played a lead role in identifying, and negotiating the valuation and buyout of key technology, IP and assets from Abbott Laboratories to initiate formation of NMT’s technology platform and product portfolio. He also led in the development of NMT, leading multiple rounds of investment and formation of executive launch team. He was key driver in the development of corporate, “go to market” strategies and business development & out-licensing strategies activities. NMT focus in first 36 months has been product development, clinical validation, brand strategy creation and initiation of partnership in US and international markets including technology out-licensing and strategic alliances.

Prior to GCG, Farhan had extensive corporate management experience via multiple diverse roles at JNJ in a range of positions ranging from ML&A, RD, Clinical Trials, Product Management, Marketing, Sales and Business Development. Before this time, he was at Bear Sterns investment banking program.

Farhan Hussain received his undergraduate degree from Case Western Reserve University, attended University of Chicago graduate school, and University of Cincinnati graduate school of Medicine (no degree). He has several pending patent inventions to his credit. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, the outdoors, and is an avid reader of history and science fiction.
